OUR STORY

Bringing the Jurassic World to Your Door

About Jurassic Rides — We started a new business to bring your parties and events to a whole new level of fun! Ride a walking, roaring, fully animated dinosaur — a prehistoric adventure like nothing else around. Whether it’s a birthday party, family reunion, business opening, or promotional event, we bring the fun to you!

WHO WE ARE

Meet Sonya & Wayne

Jurassic Rides is owned and operated by Sonya Shelton and Wayne Chapman. It’s truly a family affair, Sonya’s daughter Jennifer, her husband Alex, and their grandkids all help run the business alongside them.

The idea started when Wayne found the dinosaurs while browsing Facebook Marketplace and thought it looked like a fun adventure. But it was watching their great-grandkids, Jacob and Joslyn, light up at the sight of them that sealed the deal, the family knew they had to give it a try, both for the fun and the chance to build something together. Jacob and Joslyn still make an appearance every now and then, and you may even recognize them as the kids featured on our business banner!
